Contractor shall supply Thermal Analyst with DOS, RMX and OS/2 operating systems, Thermal solutions Accessory Kit, Computer Accessorty Kit, Color Monitor, DMA Standard Data Analysis Program, TGA Standard Data Analysis Program, DSC Standard Analysis Program, Multimodule Control, Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer DMA 2980, Dual & Single Cantilever Bending Kit, Film & Fiber Tension Kit, Gas Cooling Accessory, and Compressor. It is intended to award this contract to TA Instruments, Inc., New Castle, DE on a sole source basis. Because of the complexity and uniqueness of this system it is imperative that we maintain compatibility with existing hardware and software to preserve data acquired during it's use and be able to control present laboratory equipment. TA Instruments is the only company that provides the knowledge and expertise that can satisfy the Government's requirements for product reliability. ARL has an existing Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer and Controller that will be refurbished with these items. All responsible sources may submit a bid or proposal which will be considered by the Agency.
