This contract is for Project No. 542-96-106, and will also include Site Visits and Construction Period Services. Project title is ''Replace Steam and Condensate Lines/Asbestos Removal to Building 14.'' Asbestos work is involved and CIH Investigation and CIH Air Monitoring will also be required. Work involves underground steam and condensate lines, tees, fittings, valves, elbows, couplings, unions, welded joints, and steam traps. The new work shall meet all applicable VA criteria, codes and life/safety codes. The selected A/E will be required to provide As-built Drawings on AutoCAD R12 or R13. This advertisement for A/E Services is set-aside for small businesses. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8712, and the Small Business Size Standard is $2.5 million as an average annual revenue during the last three complete years. Interested small businesses that are qualified, and meet this criteria must submit a Standard Form 254 and 255 to the Contracting Officer listed above by close of business on September 30, 1996. This request for Standard Form 254's and 255's is restricted to small business A/E firms located within a 150 mile radius of Coatesville, PA. Submittals from firms not meeting the small business criteria or firms located outside the restricted area will be returned without consideration. This is not a solicitation for construction bids.
