HANGAR FIRE SUPPRESSION AND OVERHEAD CRANE LOCATED AT THE NEVADA AIR
NATIONAL GUARD, RENO/TAHOE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, RENO, NEVADA SOL

702/887-7205. Professional A-E services are required to design a
modification to a hangar fire suppression system and design an overhead
crane located at the Nevada Air National Guard, Reno/Tahoe
International Airport, Reno, Nevada. Work includes the production of
designs, plans, drawings, estimates, and specifications required to
execute the construction project and the conduct of fact fining
studies, surveys, investigations in support of design activities, and
supervision and inspection of construction project when required. A
Firm Fixed Price contract is contemplated. Selection of the successful
A-E firm will be based upon the following criteria, listed in order of
importance: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory
performance of required services; (2) Specialized experience and
technical competence in the type of work required; (3) Capacity to
accomplish the work in the required time; (4) Past performance on
contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of
cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance
scheduled; (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project
and knowledge of the locality of the project; (6) Demonstrated success
in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste
reduction and energy efficiency in facility design; (7) and Volume of
work previously awarded by the Department of Defense to the firm with
the object of affecting equitable distribution of contracts among
qualified A-E firms. The estimated performance period for the proposed
contract is 185 calendar days. Responding A-E firms having the
capabilities to perform this work are invited to submit completed
Standard Form (SF) 254s and SF 255s to the Contracting Officer at USPFO
for Nevada, NVMD-PFO-PC, 2601 S. Carson, Carson City, Nevada
890701-5596, by October 17, 1996, 1996, 4:30 p.m. local time, in order
to be considered for selection. This is not a Request for Proposals as
selection is based on qualifications. Participation by minority
enterprises is encouraged. This acquisition is a 100% small business
