The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO) intends to issue a sole source contract to NCR Corporation for telecommunications support services in support of the DISA Center for Computer Systems Engineering, Systems Support Office, Dayton (DISA-JEXBA). The contract will provide for non-personal services for telecommunications connectivity to DISA-JEXBA mainframe computers and the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN), for the purpose of on-line transaction processing between distant hosts through the IBM System Network Architecture/System Network Interconnection (SNA/SNI). This includes NCR COMTEN Front-end processors and host resident COMTEN Software. Performance period is 8 Dec 1996 through 7 Dec 1997.
