The previous announcement is amended to change the closing date from 09/20/96 to 10/15/96; and exclude the Fort Belvoir site from mandatory weekday, on-site, maintenance coverage. The following now applies. The Defense Mapping Agency (DMA) has a requirement for a full maintenance contract of Press, Pre-press and Bindery Equipment (includes circulators, strap choppers, perforators, platemakers, camera copies, wall film dryers, vacuum frames, digital/duplicators, etc.). Coverage includes both preventive and remedial maintenance. In addition, parts must be used from government inventory or purchased and installed when not in government inventory. Over 50 pieces of equipment are located at the Defense Mapping Agency Defense Mapping School, 5825 21st Street, Suite 119, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060. The Fort Belvoir requirement is for on-call maintenance efforts on a time and material basis. Over 80 pieces of equipment are located at the Defense Mapping Agency Ruth Building, 6001 MacArthur Blvd, Bethesda, MD 20816-5003. The Bethesda requirement is for mandatory 12 hour on-site weekday coverage at the Ruth Building site. Outside of Principle Period of Maintenance must also be performed at the Bethesda site upon notice of the government. Collateral Secret Clearance is required for on-site contractor personnel as well as U.S. Citizenship, and the ability to read and speak fluent English. The contract is contemplated to be firm fixed price for one base year and three option years.
