Z -- RENOVATE KITCHENS IN VARIOUS RESIDENTIAL HOUSING AT FORT EUSTIS, VA SOL DABT57-96-B-0079 DUE 081696 POC Contract Specialist ED COOKE 804-878-4178 (Site Code DABT57) This is a modification to the original synopsis published 29 June 1996. This requisition is being advertised as an unrestricted procurement, inviting full and open competition. An indefinite quantity contract will be awarded. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1521. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more than $17 million average revenue for the previous three years. This project consists of the complete renovation of kitchens in various residential family housing areas located at Fort Eustis, VA, with the exact locations and quantity yet to be determined. Work will be done in occupied and vacant units. The work will involve demolition and installation of new wallboard, cabinets, electrical circuits, fixtures, plumbing, vinyl flooring, windows, interior and exterior trim and in some areas providing new kitchen appliances. Construction time will be eight (8) calendar days per unit. The estimated cost range for the base year will be between $250,000 to $500,000. Estimated cost range for the two option years will be between $250,000 to $1,000,000. However, the statutory cost for the renovation of any one (1) kitchen cannot exceed $15,000.
