This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; solicitation number 549-96-96. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Prices for ''Brand Name or Equal'' and descriptive literature shall be submitted as follows for each item: ITEM I - One each Warren E. Collins ''Pulmonary Lab Area Network'' (PLAN) consisting of the following: File Server - Pentium computer, 100 MhZ, 16 MB RAM, 2.0 GB hard drive, VGA color monitor, 2.0 External tape backup, LAN hardware - 16 bit Ethernet and 500 watt uninterruptable power supply, LAN software - current version Novell Advanced Netware and Informix CISM (multiuser version), 3 LAN workstation modules, software and cabling. Four each Workstation modules consisting of a Pentium computer, 75 Mhz, 8 MB RAM, 850 MB hard drive, VGA color monitor, network LAN card. Three each additional LAN cards. Two each HP 660C color printers. Six hundred (600) feet of network cabling. ITEM II - One each Warren E. Collins ''Gold Standard Modular System consisting of spirometry module with UBV module, residual volume module, 3G rapid response gas analyzer module, pneumotach module, PImax PEmax module, dosimeter module, modular cart with regulators and gases - Pentium 5120 computer, 120 Mhz, 16 MB RAM, 1,2 GB hard drive, VGA color monitor, 1.36 GB tape backup, HP 660C color printer, current PLUS/sql software, current Bronchoprovocation software, current Trending software and remote service diagnostic module. ITEM III - One each Warren E. Collins ''Survey/Plus'' consisting of 10 liter Survey/Plus Spirometer, Pentium computer, 75 Mhz, 8 MB RAM, 850 MB hard drive, VGA color monitor and 660C color printer. Preceding description represents the minimum characteristics required. Offers shall be submitted with FOB destination pricing and shall be delivered and installed within 30 calendar days after contract award. At no additional cost to the Government, the Contractor shall provide installation, applicable training, two each user/operators manuals and two each maintenance manuals, one year warranty to include parts, labor and travel, starter kit consisting of any applicable equipment accessories and consumables, applicable software license, and software upgrades for one year from the date of installation. Proposals shall be evaluated on a ''Go-No-Go basis with price, technical criteria and contractor past performance being of equal value.
