This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number IFB 546-49-96 is issued as a invitation to bid. Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Items requested will be attached to video conferencing equipment at the Oakland Park Outpatient Clinic and the Key West Outpatient Clinic. These items will provide the physicians at the VAMC Miami consultation service to the outpatient clinics using the items during examinations. AMD-3200, Simulscope stethoscope for receive site, 1 EA. AMD-DP524, Digital decoder for receive site, 1 ea. Technical information regarding this systems must be provided. Prices must be valid through December 31, 1996. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract, F.O.B. Destination, to the responsible offer which is the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Delivery will be 60 days or earlier after award.
