The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) intends to place an order with Foster & Freeman, Evesham, Worcestershire, UK for the purchase of a Glass Refractive Index Measurement System, Leica DMRB microscope, Mettler FP82HT Hotstage, installation, training and various accessories. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106-1(a)(4). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
