This effort requires a company with experience in designing, developing and manufacturing computer controlled composite equipment, such as braiding machines. The requirement is to develop and fabricate an injection mold capable of molding braided composite preforms and to develop a molding process. The effort will focus on but not be limited to such areas as current composite sleeve manufacturing. Production of 250 prototype parts and preform development will be required.
