U.S. Export Council for Renewable Energy (US/ECRE) invites submission of proposals from U.S. Renewable energy and energy efficiency service companies for ``Renewable Energy Market Studies in Armenia and Georgia''. This solicitation seeks proposals for US/ECRE to develop two (2) market studies on renewable energy opportunities in the countries of Armenia and Georgia. The reports will include the following information: country profile, overview of the energy situation, a description of the economic and regulatory environment in the country as it pertains to renewables, potential for renewable energy development, financing sources available, key in-country organizations that will be important to renewable energy development, and strategy for U.S. industry penetration of these markets. A key requirement of the studies will also be to work with the multilateral development banks in linking renewable energy components into ongoing and/or planned loans in these countries.
