The Air Force Flight Test Center has an immediate requirement for a Closed Cycle Cryogenic System. The Closed Cycle Cryogenic System must meet the following specifications: (1) General: Single stage helium cyogenic heat pump. (2) Expander: This unit is a single stage cryogenic refrigerator expander which must provide a minimum of 20 watt heat rejection at 35 deg K and 70 watts at 77 deg K. It is to be mounted on an o-ring sealed flat flange. A Flange type OFHC copper radiation mount is provided. (3) Compressors: This unit is a single stage water cooled rotary compressor designed exclusively for helium service providing a minimum of 4 cubic feet per minute (cfm) of helium flow and operate on 208/230V, 1 phase, 60 Hz power. Each includes a battery operated LCD elapsed time meter, pressure guage, casters. (4) Set of Interconnecting Hardware: Complete set of 32 foot stainless steel flexlines with 11 foot Expander power cord, mounting hardware and a complete set of manuals. (5) Temperature Measurement: Silicon diode temperature sensor mounted onto the heat station must be compatable with Scientific Instruments 9300 Temperature Senor. The Air Force Flight Test Center intends to purchase items from APD Cryogenics, 1030 East Duane Ave Ste 1, Sunnyvale, Ca 94086, unless responses to this notice reveal additional sources capable of supplying these requirements with equivalent specifications. The Simplified Acquisition Procedure (SAP) will be used in awarding this contract by written quotation.
