RFP issue date 9-26-96-, due 10-24-96, SIC 3861/500; unrestricted solicitation will result in a requirements type contract for five years (base year plus four option years). Estimated annual quantities are: Kodak fixer 6198 gal; and developer 5334 gal. Kodak products only NO substitutes. Developer and fixer will be mixed to required specifications. Cleaning of equipment will be once per month, est 252 jobs. Deliveries are to be made from oral or written purchase orders, and must be made within 24 hours for emergency requests and between 48 and 72 hours for routine requests, to any or all of four (4) specified locations in the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. The final contract award decision will be based on a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
