sources sought - The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk
Detachment Washington DC is trying to identify potential offerors to
provide technical and logistics support to maintain the Naval
Facilities Engineering Service Center - East Coast Detachment Dive
Locker and provide contract Dive Support. The NFESC-ECDET Dive Locker
directly supports the NFESC-ECDET mission by providing quality
assurance and direct project support to the Fleet Mooring Program and
the Submarine Cable Program. All Navy dive equipment must be maintained
in accordance with OPNAVINST 4790.4C and the current Maintenance Index
Pages (MIP). Personnel maintaining Navy dive equipment must also be
currently certified and qualified Navy divers in accordance with
OPNAVINST 4790.4C required MIPs. The contract would be for a base year
with options to renew for up to five (5) years. The contract being
contemplated is a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Level Of Effort. Evaluation
procedures could encompass either award on a low-priced technically
acceptable basis or a best value basis. Potential sources capable of
