States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Jamaica has a
requirement for the services of an individual to provide technical
assistance under a six months contract to the Fiscal Policy Management
Unit of the Ministry of Finance. This contract may be extended under
a six month option. The individual will assist the Ministry of Finance
with undertaking a broad range of analyses on fiscal policy issues.
Interested parties shall submit their request for the RFP via Fax
809-929-9944 or by mail to the address above. The deadline for
submitting the proposal will be 30 calendar days after the effective
date of the RFP. Please note however, that in the interest of saving
time, photocopying and mailing costs, the preferred method of
distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by
request of a solicitation on 3.5'' floppy disk (WordPerfect 5.2

RFP, once issued, can be downloaded from the Agency Gopher. The Gopher
address is GOHER.INFO.USAID.GOV. Select USAID Procurement and Business
Opportunities from the Gopher menu. From there, choose the heading
USAID Procurements and then Download Available USAID Solicitations. The
RFP can also be downloaded via Anonymous File Transfer Protocol (FTP).
The FTP address is FTP.INFO.USAID.GOV. Logon on using the user
identificaltion of ''anonymous'' and the password is your e-mail
address. Look under the following directory for the RFP:

must be confirmed by written notification to the contact person noted
above. It is the responsibility of the recipient of this solicitation
document to ensure that it has been received from Internet in its

participation to the maximum extent possible of U.S. entities that are
small business concerns, small disadvantaged business concerns,
including women-owned concerns, historically Black colleges and
