This support will take the form of an estimated 734,599 manhours and will be negotiated with McDonnell Douglas Aerospace (MDA), St. Louis, MO. MDA is the designer and developer of the F/A-18 aircraft and is the sole respository of specifications, drawings, special tools and engineering and software expertise necessary to provide the support required for the F/A-18 aircraft and its systems.
