This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice: The Department of Navy intends to issue an RFP for Hazardous Waste Transfer Facility and Hazardous/Flammable Store House Complex, at the Navy Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT. The work includes the removal of fencing, clearing and grubbing, mass and trench rock removal, provision of underground water, telephone, electric, storm and sanitary pipe and structures, sidewalls, concrete bituminous pavement, fire pump and house, hazardous flammable store house and incidental related work. Also, the relocation of the dog training yard. The solicitation will include two options estimated at between $1.0 and $5.0 million dollars. Option 1 includes similar type work for the construction of the Hazardous Waste Transfer Facility; Option 2 includes similiar type of work for the construction of a new military dog kennel. The Sic Code is 1541 and the Small Business Size Standard is 17.0 million are applicable to this contract.
