Drydock and Repair - NOAA Ship RUDE, to be performed at the Contractor's facility. Performance period to commence approximately December 2, 1996 and shall be completed within 29 calendar days following ship availability. Basic contract items will include Underwater Body Coating; Sea Valves Overhaul; Underwater Hull Zinc anodes Renewal; Main Engines Top End Overhaul; Hydraulic Steering Gear Repairs; and others. In addition there will be nine option items, After Steering Preservation; Weather Decks Preservation; High Sea Suction Strainer Relocation; Service Generators Electrical Sets Overhaul and others. Vessel will be available for inspection October 7, 1996 at the Naval Education Training Center (NETC) - Newport, Pier 2, Newport RI. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
