The Health Resources and Services Administration is soliciting proposals in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). In accordance with the FAR Part 13, this procurement has been classified as a small business set aside. The purpose of this procurement is to assist the Division of Healthy Start with the formulation and development of a strategic plan of action for enhancing sustainability efforts that are being carried out by the 22 Healthy Start projects; (2) helping communities adapt and replicate program models and lessons learned from the Healthy Start Demonstration Program; and (3) creating a Healthy Start Peer Mentoring and Resource Initiative to facilitate replication and sustainability activites. The period of performance is one year. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Agency. The solicitation will be issued on or about 09/13/96.
