Solicitation N00024-97-R-5204 to Vitro Corporation, 1601 Research
Blvd., Rockville, MD 20850-3173 for MK-14 Weapon Direction System (WDS)
Design Agent and System Integration Agent Engineering Services in
support of Area AAW Weapon System Programs for U.S. Navy Ships and FMS
Programs. The estimated number of engineering man-hours required for
the FY97 base year is 153,850 hours. In addition to the FY97 base year
requirement, two (2) option years are also required with estimated
engineering man-hours requirements of 149,250 in FY98 and 144,925 in
FY99. Vitro is the design agent and system integrator for the MK-14
WDS. It is the only company which has the technical knowledge,
experience, software tools and development test site to perform the
Design Agent and System Integration Engineering Services within the
