The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Indianapolis has a requirement for 32 each of RF Mixers to be manufactured in accordance with NAVAIRSYSCOM drawing 1035AS193, Revision K. The following option ranges are estimated as follows: Option I will consist of ranges of 10-50, 51-75, and/or 76-100 exercised within 360 days of contract award. Option II will consist of ranges of 10-50, 51-75, and/or 76-100 exercised within 720 days of contract award. Option III will consist of ranges of 10-50, 51-75, and/or 76-100 to be exercised with 1080 days of contract award. Quality system shall conform to ISO 9002 or equivalent is required. Manufacturing process shall conform to ANSI/J-STD-001A, Class 3 or equivalent is required. The articles shall be delivered F.O.B. destination. This solicitation will be issued approximately 96 Oct 17 to Vari-L Company, Inc., 11101 East 51st Avenue, Denver, CO 80239. The proposed contract action is for supplies that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1(a), and approved J&A.
