The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Center for Research Resources (NCRR), intend to negotiate on a noncompetitive basis with Network Support Inc. (NSI), 1690 Woodward Dr. Suite 215, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K2C 3R8, to purchase three (3) each Relais Scanning Workstations. The workstations are to be used in conjunction with the either the Relais Enterprise or Relais ILL software which are proprietary products of Network Support, Inc. The workstations will convert paper documents into electronic images files for delivery by the Relais Software. The workstation components which have been customized to function with the Relais software are as follows: 20'' Mitsubishi monitors with Eliographics touch controls and ATI Video Cards; mouse and keyboards; foot pedals; AMS Laser 2000 Bar code readers; Fujitsu model 3096EX Laser scanners converted to a Flatbed; Fujitsu IPC cards; and Kofax model 7300 board.
