CZECH REPUBLIC: PRODUCTS OF CABBAGE The following notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif.96.308. 1. Member to Agreement notifying: Czech Republic. Products covered (HS or CCCN where applicable, otherwise national tariff heading ICS numbers may be provided in addition, where applicable): Products of cabbage. 5. Title, number of pages and language(s) of the notified document: Draft Standard CSN 56 9340 Products of Cabbage, 10 pages, in Czech. 6. Description of content: The draft standard contains basic requirements on cabbage products, sterilized, fermented (white and red kind), or marinated (only white kind) which have more than 50% m.m. of cabbage in solid components. The standard does not apply to frozen food, ready food, dried or dehydrated products, vegetable mixtures and salads and any cabbage beverages. It applies to the vegetable mixtures and salads the names of which bear the denomination ``cabbage'' or ``of cabbage''. Some provisions are proposed to be mandatory, as follows: 4.1 Products grading; 4.2 Materials, additives and ingredients; 5.1 Packaging; 6. Labelling; and 8. Storage.
