The National Naval Medical Center has a requirement for General Services/Telecommunications Department. NNMC intends to award a sole sourced maintenance contract to Motorola for the period of 01 Oct 96 through 30 Sept 97. Coverage will include 24 hour unlimited emergency service calls, parts, travel and labor. Maintenance will also include service ambulance telemetry equipment, 640 pagers, 50 portable radios and various other Motorola telecommunication equipment. Contractor must respond telephonically within two hours and will be onsite within four hours. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
