The beach fill area will have an approximate length of 1.2 miles and will be located with the southern end of the beach fill area approximately 2.4 miles of the Canaveral Harbor Entrance Channel. The sand will obtained from a borrow area located adjacent to and north of the Canaveral Harbor Entrance Channel. The project work will be done by cutterhead hydraulic pipeline dredge. No work to be performed on the beach after May 15, 1997. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Pre-Solicitation Notice will be issued on or about 12 Sept 96 Invitation DACW17-96-B-0049 will be issued on or about 30 Sept 96 and opened on or about 14 Nov 96.
