PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The work provides for the renovation and functional upgrading of Bldgs. 50, 51 and 52, which serve as the 60th Airlift Wing Headquarters and for upgrading of the buildings to a base-wide design, life safety, and engineering criteria. Bldgs. 50 and 52 which house the Wing Operations Support and Plans Group are single-story concrete structures constructed in 1945. Bldg. 51 which houses the Wing Command Staff, Support, Safety and Quality Groups is a single story wood-frame structure constructed in 1952. The work includes selective demolition of building interior and exterior elements, including architectural, mechanical, and electrical elements and systems; roofing; fixtures; and equipment. Work will also include hazardous materials demolition, abatement, and disposal, including PCB-containing elements, asbestos-bearing materials, and lead-based paint finishes. Additional site and buldings' underground utility systems with associated site preparation and repair work, including partial pavement removal and replacement. Estimated Construction Cost between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Firm Fixed Price Contract. This project in Unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1542 and the related small business standard is $17,000,000. Contract duration is approximately 365 calendar days.
