The US Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to award a firm fixed price contract for approximately (1) 20,000 Tons of Rip Rap Stone Type ``A'', (2) approximately 20,000 Tons of Crusher Run, CR Type ``B'' and (3) three Rip Rap Gradation Testings. Solicitation DACW61-96-B-0054 will be issued on or about 26 September 1996 with a bid opening date of 06 November 1996 at 13:15 hours at the local place of bid opening. The performance period is to commence on or about May 15, 1997. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives such notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Delivery is scheduled for sites along the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, between Reedy Point, Delaware and Grove Neck, Maryland.
