The National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD has a requirement for the National Naval Dental Center to procure a surgical microscope system for dentistry. NNMC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Carl Zeiss for the purchase of five Carl Zeiss surgical microscope system ZMS-703 for dentistry (OPMI 1-FC with inclined binocular tube on S-1 Floorstand). Complete system includes Microscope body OPMI 1-FC, Objective f=250mm, Inclined Binocular Tube f=170, Wide-field Eyepieces 12.5x/18B, with adjustable eyecups, set of 2 removeable stainless steel handles, Intermediate adapter pieces for handles, Sterilizable covers for handles, Microscope Cover 44'' x 54'' blue; Inclined Coupling 120 degree with Clamping device, Floor Stand S-1 with articulated arm system for OPMI and accessories 2.5-7kg (5.5- 15.4 lbs), FC-Slight Guide 700mm (28''), Fiber Optic Illuminator 12V, Halogen lamps 12V 100W. Also being procured is a photo adaptor. Anticipated award date is 23 September 1996. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by this agency. This action is unrestricted.
