FISC Norfolk Detachment Washington has a requirement for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard Detachment (Plant Equipment Support Office). FISCNORVADETWASH intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to procure a modular type, walk-in chemical laboratory, and environmentally controlled room having a temperature of 68 degrees Fahrenheit, including installation at Carderock, MD. The chemical laboratory shall be provided with not less than 120 PSI compressed air with regular, shut off valves and pressure gauges, two inert bottled gas inlets with regulators, shut off valves, and regulated gas pressure gauges, one telephone jack adjacent to the writing desk, water and a gas feed for burners. Unless otherwise specified, all sizes and capacities listed are to be considered the minimum requirement: Internal size: not less than 20' Long x 20' Wide x 7' High, Temperature: 68 degrees Fahrenheit +/1 2 degrees Fahreheit, Humidity: Not To Exceed 60% RH, Lighting: 70 Foot Candles @ 3 Ft above floor. The room shall be provided with modular type laboratory furniture. The noise level shall not exceed 60 db at any point in the rooms. Within 20 days after the receipt of a written request issued by the receiving activity, the services of a qualified representative(s) shall be provided to train personnel at the receiving activity.
