The Library of Congress intends to negotiate with Candle Corporation, Federal Operations for products from the AIX and OMEGAMON series in support of performance analysis and management in the RS/6000 environment. The products to be purchased are as follows: Candle Management Server for AIX level 3, 1 copy; Omegamon Monitoring Agent AIX level 3, 5 copies; Omegamon Monitoring Agent AIX level 2, 1 copy; Alert Adapter for Netview AIX, 2 copies; CMW for Distributed Systems on OS/2, 5 copies; CMW for Windows 95, 4 copies; CMW for Motif, 2 copies; Command & Control Distributed Systems, 10 copies; CMA-Omegamon monitoring Agent for Oracle level 3, 1 copy; CMA-Omegamon monitoring Agent for Sybase level 3, 1 copy; and CMA-Omegamon monitoring Agent for Informix level 3, 1 copy. These products are considered with regard to the product's ability to support performance monitoring and problem resolution: (1) Availability of easy-to-use graphical user interface; (2) Capability to simultaneously monitor ORACLE, Sybase, and Informix-based application; (3) Ability to report back to single server for centralized management. Other interested offerors must provide sufficient technical documentation to demonstrate the capability to satisfy the requirements, complete pricing including all charges and a copy of the GSA contract (if applicable).
