The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) intends to procure (3) infrared wireless recorded evidence presentation systems for use in the courtroom. ``Must have'' features include: Low profile-system must sit on the prosecutor's table without being obtrusive; Portable-must be hand carried by one person; Easy set-up and operation-mixer; amplifier, modulator and power supply must be one integral unit; Professional-interconnection cables and connectors must be commercial type for courtroom reliability; Infrared headsets must have minimal 40 hour battery life to save operating costs and must have selection ability of either IR channel to remove fluorescent light ballast interference; Reversible 9-volt battery must be used for compatability and simplification of installation and (3) Infrared speaker system w.2 speakers. Systems are to be delivered FOB Destination to Rockville, MD within 30 days after receipt of order.
