B -- TECHNICAL SUPPORT, OCEANS & COASTAL PROTECTION DIVISION/OWOW SOL C600312T1 POC Donna Reinhart (513)366-2114 The notice of contract action previously published on 3/7/96 for TECHNICAL SUPPORT, OCEANS & COASTAL PROTECTION DIVISION/OWOW RFP C600312T1 is modified as follows. The Oceans and Coastal Protection Division of the Office Of Water has a requirement for technical support to aid its responsibilities in the protection of the nation's oceans, estuaries, coastal waters, other designated water bodies and costal watersheds. Technical support is required in the following areas: 1)field work and lab analysis; 2) environmental ecological, and health risk assessments; 3) sources and control of floatable and aquatic debris; 4) ocean dumping and disposal and dredged material management activities; 5) data base development and modeling; 6)support for technical and public outreach activities; 7) pollution control and mitigation; and 8) technical support for regulation development. It is anticipated that a CPFF reimbursement type contract will be awarded with a base period of (12) twelve months and (2) two twelve month option periods. The base level of effort is 57,000 hours. Each option period will also have a level of effort of 57,000 hours. The procurement shall be processed as a competitive procurement under FAR Part 15, full and open competitive procedures. The applicable Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 8731, 500 employees. All responsible offerors may submit a request which will be evaluated by the agency.
