C -- INDEFINITE DELIVERY, INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR ARCHITECTURAL-ENGINEERING SERVICES AT DAVIS-MONTHAN AFB ARIZONA DUE 102296 POC Contact Karen Spencer, (520)228-3873 or Gerry Grimes (520)228-4180 Multidiscipline indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract (open-end) to provide investigative and design services (Title 1-A and 1-B) for various projects at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. POC: Karen Spencer, (520)228-3873. Phone calls are discouraged unless absolutely necessary. One (1) each indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract for architect-engineering services at Davis-Monthan AFB AZ. Architect-Engineer services are required for investigation and design of miscellaneous renovation, minor construction, repair, fire protection, electrical, structural, civil, landscaping, environmental and topographic survey requirements. More than one contract may be awarded based on this solicitation at the Government's option. Some projects may require renovation and/or demolition of existing facilities where asbestos and/or lead paint may be present. The selected firm must have the ability, either in-house or through consultants, to perform asbestos and lead surveys, and to design for containment or removal. Each of the contracts will be for a basic year and two option years with a $500,000 limit per contract year. Single delivery orders will be limited to $299,000. A minimum of $5,000 in fee work shall be awarded under each of the contracts. Firms desiring consideration must submit both Standard Forms (SF) 254 and 255. All firms wishing to be considered must submit a new response. The response shall include one (1) copy of the SF 255 for prime and one (1) copy of the SF 254 for prime and each consultant. Depth of prime and subcontractor personnel in each discipline must be shown in Block 4 of the Sf 255 with subcontractor qualifications. Pertinent factors for consideration of qualifications which should be addressed in the submittal, not listed in any particular order are (1) professional qualifications, (2) specialized experience and technical competence, (3) capacity for timely accomplishment of work, (4) past performance, (5) geographic location, and (6) volume of DoD work the candidate has done. Special qualifications which are required and will be considered as part of the selection process are (1) professional registration in Arizona, (2) the ability to prepare and submit documents in the latest version of the following software: AutoCad 12, MS Word 6.0, MS Excel 5.0. The ability of the firm to meet the special qualifications must be indicated in Block 10 of the SF 255. The failure of a candidate to address the special qualifications in Block 10 of the SF 255 will be considered a nonresponsive submittal by the A-E selection boards. One (1) copy of the submittal package is to be received in this office later than 4:00 pm (local time), 22 Oct 96. Submittals received after this date and time will not be considered.
