The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Dallas, Texas, is soliciting and intends to make an award to an eligible hospital and/or other qualified medical entity, which is also a established firm, within a twenty-five (25) mile radius of the Forrest City, Arkansas area. The successful contractor shall provide all necessary inpatient and outpatient medical specialty services at their location and/or at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Forrest City, Arkansas, to all Federal inmates who are housed, either temporarily or permanently, at this institution. The outpatient institution services (sub-specialty) will include, but not limited to: Orthopedic Surgeon; Optometrist; Dietician; Psychiatrist; General Surgeon; Radiology Technician; and Bio-Medical Servics. The resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Requirements type contract with a base year from date of award through twelve months with the possibility of four (4), one year option periods for renewal.
