R -- FEDLINK INFORMATION RETRIEVAL SERVICES DELIVERY ORDER SOL EJEV/NIAM-CA POC Charles Wilson, Contract Specialist. The Library of Congress intends to issue delivery orders against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to renew subscriptions with Chemical Abstacts Service for the continued use and access of their database by Environmental Protection Agency, Information Services Division, Washington DC (EJEV) and NIH, National Inst. of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases, Bethesda, MD (NIAM). STN International (STN) is a joint, cooperative, international, online, information retrieval service offered by the American Chemical Society through its Chemical Abstracts Service division, the Fachinformationszentrum Karlsruhe (FIZ Karlsruhe) and the Japan Information Center of Science and Technology (JICST). With STN, searchers have access to over 100 scientific and technical databases from database suppliers in many different countries. STN offers information in a variety of areas including chemistry, engineering, math, physics, geology, biotechnology, thermodynamics, energy, patents, and materials science. STN's bibliographic, structure, numeric, and full-text databases are all searchable using the same Messenger command language. Services will be continued through September 30, 1997. WRITTEN RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE PRICES AND TECHNICAL DATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY. No telephone calls will be accepted.
