NASA'S GODDARD SPACE FLIGHT CENTER (THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
OR AN INVITATION FOR BID) POC Karen M. Smith, Contracting Officer,
(301) 286-2384. NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) is committed
to recycling as much of its waste stream as possible. GSFC seeks a
contractor that shall supply all necessary materials, equipment,
transportation, labor and supervision necessary to provide
comprehensive recycling services to 30+ buildings at the Greenbelt
Campus of GSFC beginning in mid-1997. Recyclables to be collected
include, but are not limited to: sorted white ledger, mixed paper,
newspaper, corrugated cardboard, aluminum beverage cans, laser toner
cartridges, and co-mingled glass and plastic bottles. Estimated volumes
of recyclables generated on an annual basis are as follows: white
ledger 500 tons; mixed paper 60 tons; newspaper 50 tons; cardboard 50
tons; aluminum cans 15 tons; bottles 15 tons; laser toner cartridges
750 units. If your company has the resources and the ability to provide
