The BLM desires to build fences south of Bruneau in Owyhee County to protect the Bruneau Hot Springsnail, a federal listed species, and it's habitat. Estimated length of the 4-strand barbed wire fence with wood post panels is 4.5 miles. Estimated start date is October 15 and estimated completion date is November 14. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, a 50% payment bond is required for contracts greater than $25,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
