Z -- SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR PROJECT KNMD 97-4401, IMPROVE FAMILY HOUSING, PHASE 2, HICKAM AFB, HAWAII SOL F64060597B0001 DUE 111596 POC Contact Les Hashimoto, P. Grace Peacock, Contracting Offcer. The Air Force is seeking sources for this project which shall include but not limited to demolition (including asbestos and lead based paint abatement), site preparations, utilities and complete renovation of the exterior and interior of 64 military family housing units with options for an additional 16 units at Hickam AFB, Hawaii. The results of this effort shall be a complete and ready for occupancy family housing area. A solicitation will be issued in compliance with Public Law 100-656, Business Opportunity Development Program Act of 1988, establishing a test of unrestricted competition. The estimated cost of construction will be OVER $10 MILLION DOLLARS. There will be a NON-REFUNDABLE CHARGE of $160.00 for each solicitation package. The solicitation package will include a drawing set of approximately 203 sheets with technical provisions of approximately 300 plus pages. Payment by company check or money order made payable to DFAS-HONOLULU should be sent with a written request to: 15th Contracting Squadron/LGCC (Attn: Les Hashimoto), 90 G St., Bldg. 1201, Hickam AFB, HI 96853-5230. A solicitation package will be issued on or about 16 Oct 96. All written request must include the solicitation number, project number and title, company name, address, telephone and fax number, and business size. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted. NOTE: Plans and specifications will not be mailed to firms on the island of Oahu, HI. They may be picked-up at the issuing office upon payment by company check or money order.
