The National Maritime Intelligence Center (NMIC) has a requirement for an Indefinate Delivery Type Contract for fiscal year 1997 (date of award thru 97 Sep 30) for moving services and assembly/disassembly of NMIC property including but not limited to equipment, furniture and supplies, on an ''AS NEEDED BASIS''. 24 hour notice will be given to the contractor by a telephone call, and followed up with written notice. The contractor shall meet this schedule at all times and is required to furnish all the necessary equipment/tools in order to complete the task. The contractor shall move, handle and transport NMIC and NMIC tenant owned property within NMIC, between NMIC and it's offsite locations, between NMIC or it's offsite locations to the Navy Yard, the Pentagon, shipping terminals and all Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) locations within Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, D.C. and Delaware. All contract personnel are required to submit to a secuity screening and submit a security package within 5 days after award. All personnel must be U.S. Citizens. All movers must have at least 1 year experience and the job supervisor must have at least 3 years experience. Award will be evaluated on price and non-price related factors such as past performance and experience. This procurement is a 100 percent small business set-aside.
