C -- INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AT US POSTAL SERVICE OWNED AND LEASED FACILITIES IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA Due 102196. POC: Cristina Ramsey, Environmental Specialist, (770) 454-0644. Each contract for general environmental services, with a $5,000 guaranteed amount, will be administered through individual work orders that will not exceed $200,000. Multiple contracts may be awarded based on this advertisement. Each contract will not exceed $1,500,000 and will be for 2 years with renewal option for 3 one-year periods. The work will be performed in Florida predominantly, but may occur in other southeastern states. Services may include designing and supervising asbestos, abatement, UST, removal, assessment and remediation, lead paint remediation; resource conservation projects; and performing site investigations (real estate), environmental assessments/impact statements, and natural and historic resources and energy conservation studies. Firms must have experience with projects involving compliance with federal and Florida environmental and safety rules and regulations. Firms must provide planners, architects, engineers, geologists, scientists, industrial hygienists and technicians to accomplish the work issued. Appropriately certified or registered professionals must be available. Submission must include: (a) location and array of environmental and safety professionals with Florida and adjoining states, (b) qualifications of key personnel, (c) management approach, (d) environmental projects completed and in progress, and (e) laboratory use methodology. No other advertisement for these contracts will be made. Qualified firms are invited to submit to the address above by October 21, 1996, three (3) copies of their SF 254 and 255, including the SF 254 for each subcontractor proposed. Firms will be required to provide proof of errors and omissions insurance for at least $200,000/claim. Payment of a commission, percentage, or brokerage fee to a person or firm contingent upon, or resulting from, award of this contract is prohibited. Submissions will not be retained nor returned.
