City, OK 73111 C -- ARCHITECT ENGINEER SERVICES TO DESIGN COMPOSITE SUPPORT COMPLEX
PROJECT XHZG969533 SOL DAHA34-96-R-00014. Due 110496. POC Contracting
Officer: CPT John Venaglia, 405-425-8346. Type ``A'' Services
Architect-Engineer contract for the Oklahoma Air National Guard portion
of the Tulsa International Airport, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Project XHZG969533
``Composite Support Complex''. This project comprises a 45,000 square
foot support complex to include a dining hall, medical clinic,
headquarters, operations & training, physical fitness area, and other
pertinent offices. The project will also include remodel of two
facilities (13,000 square feet) and the demolition of three facilities
and associated parking and utilities. Type ``A'' Services shall
include investigative services such as: clarifying user requirements,
verifying existing conditions, economic feasibility studies, value
engineering proposals, developing conceptual designs, conducting a
Concept Proposal Meeting and Concept Development Meeting, developing
playback booklet and design booklet, providing a site plan, a floor
plan, scope calculations, narrative descriptions, a fire protection
systems analysis, a summary of life cycle costs, a preliminary cost
estimate and updating the project schedule. The A/E shall also provide
drawings an ACAD Version 13 and documents in Microsoft Word 6.0 or
compatible files. Type ``B'' and ``C'' services will be an option with
this contract which may be exercised by the government. The government
will negotiate these investigative services. The duration of this
contract will be 90 days. Estimated start date is February 1997.
Interested Architect-Engineer firms wishing to be considered are
invited to submit completed Standard Forms 254, ``US Government
Architect-Engineer Questionnaire'' and Standard Form 255,
``Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire'' for this
specific project to the office shown above no later than November 4,
1996 or thirty days after this announcement is first published in the
Commerce Business Daily, whichever is later. Significant evaluation
criteria and the relative order of importance to the government are as
follows: (1) Professional Qualifications, (2) Specialized Experience,
(3) Capacity to Accomplish, (4) Past Performance, (5) Location, (6)
Volume of DoD Work during the previous twelve months. This is not a
Request for Proposal. No other general notification to firms under
consideration for this work is made and no further action is required.
This is an unrestricted procurement action open to small and large
