The Hazardous Materials Information System (HMIS) is the primary source of national data for Federal, State, and Local government agencies responsible for the safety of hazardous materials transportation. The prinicipal role of the HMIS is to collect and distribute information on hazardous materials spills and on regulatory activities. Required services will include data collection, system 1032 data base administration and training, use of VMS operating system, statistical analyses and the provision of standard and specialized reports. Contract Period of Performance will be for a base year with options for up to four (4) additional years. This is a Fixed Price, Level-of-Effort type contract.
