N -- INSTALL ENVIRONMENTAL TEST EQUIPMENT SOL N61331-97-R-0002 DUE 110796 POC Mary Kitchen, Contract Specialist, (904)235-5389 Carol A. Dreger, Contracting Officer, (904)234-4863. The Coastal Systems Station (COASTSYSTA), DD, NSWC, intends to solicit H.B. Electronics, 74 Old Meribeth Road, Hampton, VA, 23669 on a sole source basis for reinstallation of environmental test equipment at the COASTSYSTA. These equipments consist of three HVA Shock test Machines, five environmental test chambers, one walk-in environmental test chamber, one leak test tank, one salt spray booth, two environmental test ovens, one exhaust blower for the 40,000 lb shaker test table, and one Detroit Diesel kit. The government has limited documentation for only three of these equipments. This documentation is not adequate for perform of the entire effort. H.B. Electronics performed the de-installation at Yorktown, VA, and the preparation for shipment of all items already moved from Yorktown to the COASTSYSTA. H.B. Electronics therefore is the only source that has the equipment specific knowledge gained through de-installation that is necessary to ensure the safe reinsallation of these equipments at the COASTSYSTA. Included in the contract will be the requirement for the de-installation of a 40,000 lb Shaker Testing Table and a Transportation Testing Table (currently located at Yorktown, VA), including all electronics and hardware associated with these items, and for the preparation for shipment, loading of these Tables onto trucks for transportation to the COASTSYSTA, and reinstallation at the COASTSYSTA.
