The Jet Propulsion Laboratory/California Institute of Technology (JPL/CIT), operating under a prime contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), presents the ``2nd Annual JPL Comes to Washington: A Space Science Symposium for Small Business'' on October 9, 1996. Interested companies are invited to attend this annual event at 8:30 a.m. (EDT) at NASA Headquarters' Auditorium located at 300 E Street S.W., Washington, D.C. Metro stop: Federal Center S.W. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and there is no registration fee. This one-day symposium will focus on federal subcontracting opportunities for small, minority, and women-owned businesses in the high-tech industry. The purpose of this symposium is to introduce high-tech small businesses interested in doing business with JPL in Pasadena, CA but may lack the resources to market the Laboratory's high-tech requirements for fiscal year 1997. An overview of JPL technical programs is on the Agenda. For planning purposes, a written letter of interest should be directed to JPL as soon as possible. Your response should include: (1) name(s) of attendee(s); (2) company name; (3) address; (4) both telephone and FAX numbers; (5) a brief description of your company's technical capabilities; and (6) company size (i.e., small business, small minority-owned, small woman-owned).
