93 -- PURCHASE OF MUD-TRAKS SOL IFB 605-109-96 DUE 093096 POC Cedrick Williams, 909/422-3086 The Riverside and Willamette National Cemetery has a requirement for the purchase of Specialty Vehicles and Equipment Model 48120HDCM Mud Traks, Brand Name or equal.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is an Invitation for Bid and is solicitation numbered 605-109-96. This solicitation document provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 40-41. All proposal submitted by responsible concerns will be considered. Standard Industrial Classification code is 3496 and the Small Business size standard is 500.The salient characteristic of the Mud-Traks are size 4' x 10' x 5/16'' with hand cut outs on both short ends. Mats shall be made of fiberglass with non-skid coating on the bottom for adherence to grass and non-skid coating on top for vehicle traction. One hundred thirty (130) sheets shall be delivered F.o.b. Destination to the Riverside National Cemetery, located at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, California 92508. Fifty (50) sheets shall be delivered F.o.b. Destination to the Willamette National Cemetery located at 11800 S.E. Mt. Scott Boulevard, Portland, Oregon 97266.The provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
