The Volpe Center plans to procure sole-source, through simplified acquisition procedures, with Sensormatic Electronics Corporation, Rockville, MD, the CCTV installation upgrade of the 14th Street facility of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Washington, D.C. Sensormatic will provide the program management, engineering, design, installation, and documentation services to complete the Matrix Model 2050 System, its racking system, and its internal wiring interconnections in conjunction with the Volpe Center and the BEP. Small Business firms under SIC CODE 3663 that are interested in proposing on this requirement must demonstrate to the Contracting Officer in writing no later than 15 days from the date of publication of this CBD notice that they possess (1) factory trained installation technicians on Sensormatic Matrix Switching System Equipment, (2) that they possess the necessary licenses or agreements to guarantee any warranty on the GFE Sensormatic Equipment (3) that they are capable of starting the installation in the early October 1996 time frame.
