The purpose of this procurement is to provide disadvantaged and/or minorities students with a bridge of academic and support tools for the medical school curriculum; to identify likey barriers to sucess in the educational environment and to enhance timely progression through the prescribed curriculum. The Health Reosurces and Services Administration, Bureau of Health Professions, Disadvantage Assistance Branch intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, with the Morehouse School of Medicine, 720 West View Drive, SW, Atlaneta, Georgia 30310-1495. The Morehouse School of Medicine, is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file.
