POC Dorothy Richardson Tel: (410) 965-8083. The contractor shall
provide all labor, material, parts, equipment and supervision to make
necessary and incidental repairs in order to recoat warehouse roof with
non asbestos aluminum roof coating at the Social Security Supply
Building, Baltimore, MD. The contractor shall be a firm with not less
than 5 years successful experience in installation of roofing materials
and application of aluminum coatings and which is accepted and approved
by the existing roof manufacturer, to recoat their roofing materials
without voiding the warranty. The existing roofing is a heat applied
modified bitumen membrane over perlite roof insulation. The deck is
comprised of poured gypsum with wire mesh over formboard set on
inverted T-bars with no metal decking. This is a simplified
acquisition, 100% small business set-aside, issued as a request for
quote. The estimated cost range of this project is between $25,000 and
$100,000. The standard industrial classification code for this
acquisition is 1761. The small business size standard is $7.0 million.
A one time site inspection will be scheduled on or about October 2,
1996. All small business concerns interested in submitting a bid on
this acquisition shall make a written request for the solicitation
