58 -- AN/ARC-210(V) ELECTRONIC PROTECTION RADIO SET SOL N00019-95-C-0004 POC Contact, Brian Neiheisel, Phone (703)604-2119 On a sole source basis, the Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with Rockwell International Corporation, Collins Avionics and Communications Division (CACD) of Cedar Rapids, IA to acquire, including options, approximately 90 AN/ARC-210 Satellite Communications (SATCOM) RT-1747B radios, 20 High Power Amplifiers, 20 LNA/Diplexers with High Power RF Switch units, supplies, support and technical data for the EA-6B aircraft. CACD is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the AN/ARC-210(V) radio, and is the only firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, and experience to perform this effort within the time constraints of the U.S. Navy.
