The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, MD has a sole source requirement for Aerospace Optics, Inc. for Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) compatible Pushbutton Lighting Cap Assemblies to be installed in the NVIS upgrade to the F-14 aircraft. The items required are the following: Forty (40) NVIS Green B Front Pushbutton Lighting Cap Assemblies - Part Number (P/N) 95-XX-51-S6-70337, seventeen (17) NVIS Green B Pushbutton Lighting Cap Assemblies with momentary action switch base - P/N 95-15-51-S6-70337, two hundred forty (240) NVIS Green B Front Pushbutton Lighting Cap Assemblies - P/N 99-XXX-6K4-24321, ninety-two (92) NVIS Green B Pushbutton Lighting Cap Assemblies with alternate action switch base - P/N 99-722-6K4-24321, eighty (80) NVIS Yellow Front Pushbutton Lighting Cap Assemblies - P/N 99-XXX-6S2-24322, twenty-six (26) NVIS Yellow Pushbutton Lighting Cap Assemblies with momentary action switch base - P/N 99-412-6S2-24322, one hundred twenty (120) NVIS Green B Front Pushbutton Lighting Cap Assemblies - P/N 99-XXX-6S2-24320, fifty (50) NVIS Green B Pushbutton Lighting Cap Assemblies with momentary action switch base - P/N 99-412-6S2-24320, forty (40) NVIS Green B Front Pushbutton Lighting Cap Assemblies - P/N 99-XXX-6S2-24323, and seventeen (17) NVIS Green B Pushbutton Lighting Cap Assemblies with momentary action switch base - P/N 99-412-6S2-24323. These items shall meet the requirements of MIL-L-85762A Type I Class A. Production-ready drawings are required. Delivery shall be made within 126 days after contract award to NAWCAD, Patuxent River, MD. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Aerospace Optics, Inc., 3201 Sandy Lane, Fort Worth, Texas 76112 due to the compatibility requirement for modification of the existing Aerospace Optics pushbutton assemblies.
